Good Start to the Season - 2 Games - 2 Victories
South Bruce hosted the TCDMHA Rebels Friday night to open the season with a convincing 9-0 victory.
The Rebels held the play for the first few minutes of the game, but several good saves allowed the team time to organize and start dominating the play. The final score was 9-0 South Bruce with good goaltending, defense and offense.
Saturday afternoon had the team travel to our long time rivals in Shallow Lake. South Bruce started this game much better with a quick goal to go up 1-0. The period was back and forth with South Bruce getting the majority of the chances, but couldn't put another past the Shallow Lake goaltender who was impressive. The second period was a whole different story with South Bruce starting to capitalize. The third was the same with the South Bruce boys beginning to dominate and the final score ended 8-2.
Good work to the kids. They are starting to click and good work to the coaches.
