Volunteering (South Bruce Minor Hockey)

Volunteer Requirements 2019-2020

As parents of SBMHA player(s), at registration you agreed to assist the organization and/or your child(s) team when called upon to provide volunteer support. With the closing of the booth, there will no longer be booth volunteer hours, therefore volunteer hours have been restructured.
On your registration form you were asked to rank your volunteer job interest from 1 to 5, where 1 is your highest preference and 5 is your lowest preference. We will do our best to accommodate as many families as possible with their preferred jobs.

_______ A. Tournaments – assist committee leaders in organizing & running of South Bruce hosted tournaments: team registration, kitchen managers/workers, prize table, runners, etc.

_______ B. Sponsorship - collecting from assigned sponsors, responsible for ensuring donation gets to the committee head

_______ C. Fundraising & Events – assist with one of the following: sell & distribute SBMHA clothing; organize/host the Valentine’s dinner, dance & silent auction; organize/host the year-end banquet; any other fundraising initiatives as decided by the committee

_______ D. Hockey Operations – tryout evaluations, equipment management, development programs, bench staff

_______ E. Administration – executive, communication, registration, coaches committee, picture day
