Great effort in South Bruce
Well it is not a loss....It is not a win....but a tie is the closest we have been to a win to date....another full 40 minutes of hockey was played!

Kincardine 2 team ventured to the Mildmay Arena to face our boys on a cold Saturday afternoon. The temperature was soon elevated a bit by the intensity that the South Bruce boys put forward on another exciting hockey game!

Darren Ruetz put the first ink on the score sheet with an un-assisted marker to get things under way.part way through the first.
Our second goal came off a hard slap shot from Ryan Colvin that was tipped with a perfect deflection past their keeper by cousin Bradley McGlynn pushing the netting back in the Kincardine goal.
Kincardine answered back in the second with a goal at 11:35. There was alot of saves from Matthew Ballagh with 5:20 left in the second when we had trouble clearing the puck.
The third period started off with a fast goal by Kincardine at the start of the frame, but our guys battled a solid third period.  A great break away effort by Jake Ireland could of pushed us into the lead but their goalie managed to get a handle on the pucks direction.
The last couple of games are proving the team is starting to gel as they learn each others playing style and advance their skill levels. Keep up the great effort gang! Getting closer to the elusive W with every game..
