Down to the last 2 games
The season closed off with a double game against Mt Forest Rams..A couple of solid games but not the result we wanted.
Since I missed the game Friday night, there was lots of skating and passing back and forth, up and down, around and around with the first goal unassisted in the first by Brad and another by Brad assisted by Karson.
Two to zip at the end of the first. Looking gooooooood!!
The wheels began to wobble for the second and third and we never had another time to turn the light on over their net, however they picked up 1 in the second and two in the third to close out the game at 3-2 for Mt Forest. Good game apparently.
A refreshed team headed to Mt Forest on Saturday for a 5 pm start. They opened the scoring in the first and we knotted the score at 1 half way through the second with a goal by Sam assisted by big brother Jake. They answered back with a goal with 2:14 left in second now 2-1. Mt Forest bumped it up one more to 3-1 with 10 left and we closed the gap with a goal by Nick with an assist from Darren and Brad. Now 3-2. They turned up the heat in the balance of the third and we just could not get things happening and it ended in a 6-2 loss.
