3 more games = 3 more wins for Blades
On Sunday November 22 the Blades braved the wintery roads and travelled to Drayton. Down a few players and some line changes but the Blades pulled off a 3-0 win and Spencer got his first shutout of the year.

The Blades recorded a goal in each period with the first of the night going to Tanner P. Assists go to Shawn and Tristan. In the second period with only 12 seconds left Jake scored on a pass from Caleb. At 10:50 in the third period Tristan and Clayton fed the puck to Garret to finish off the scoring for the night. The weather held off for the ride home so the boys could get a good night’s rest for their next game the following night for a rematch against Walkerton.

The game against Walkerton landed a second shutout for Spencer with a final score of 6-0. The guys must have had their testosterone in check as there were only two penalties for this game. A couple hard hits delayed the game slightly but our guys didn't back down on the scoreboard, scoring two goals each period this time. Goals for the night were scored by Tyson, Tristan, Caleb, Owen, Shawn and Curtis. Helping make those goals happen was all the team but on the game sheet the recognition goes to Curtis, Tanner M and Shawn.

The next game took the Blades up to Kincardine on Sunday November 29 for a 7:30 face off. Things started off real slow for the Blades with the first goal of the night nearing the end of the second period at 4:14 on an unassisted goal by Drew. That goal was only a little dent to the score as Kincardine scored three in first period and another early in the third to take the 4-1lead. The Blades weren't waving the white flag yet as they scored 4 more goals in the third to take the lead of 5-4 with 6:06 left on the clock. Playing the hockey they should have played the whole game, they were able to hold off the home team Kincardine to come home with a win. Aside from Drew scoring the first goal, the other goals for the night were Caleb from Tanner M, Tyson from Owen, Jake from Drew and the winning goal by Brett from Curtis and Tanner M. The Blades next game is in Mildmay on Monday December 7th at 8:15pm.
