Novice LL 1, 2013-2014 (South Bruce Minor Hockey)

Our season started out taking two different groups of kids and combining them to make one AMAZING team. These players have had such a truly remarkable season.

On Friday Night We Welcomed The Walkerton Capitals for a Match at 7:00 pm. The Novice LL 1 team were out to show how hard they have been working and what they have learned during practices. There positional play was second to none. Erica, Keith, Haylee, Hank, Mitch, & Tyson were playing our forward lines showing the concept of the train tracks, which was placing them where they needed to be at just the right times. The first period ended, with neither team scoring. 

On November 15th we hosted a game against Milverton at the Teeswater Arena. This game saw Tyson in net, he showed the crowd some great blocks. It was a high scoring game with the end score being 10-1 for South Bruce. Goals were scored by Keith, Owen, Conner & Haylee, with assists from Mitch and Haylee. This was our FIRST WIN !!!! 

The Novice LL 1 team traveled to Howick on Friday night. Tyson took his turn at goal and did a great job. We once again met up with an even matched team, all of the players were working really well together on the ice. It seems as though we are on quite the tie streak and managed to tie our third game in a row with a score of 2-2. This coming Friday night we will host Milverton in Teeswater at 7:00pm. Will it be another Tie????

Our first game was our home opener held in Teeswater against Listowel on Friday November 1st. The team did an excellent job working together. Keith protected our goal and did a fantasitc. Between Haylee, Mitch, and Timothy bringing in our 4 goals we ended the game tied 4-4 great way to start the season.
