Pee Wee Rep Boys, 2015/16 (South Bruce Minor Hockey)

After a great third game can the boys pull off another 3rd period like the one before???? No goals scored in the first. Seaforth slips a tough one past Owen in the second.  Off to the dressing room again.  Inspiration from Derek.  3rd period 22 seconds in Reece Martin an unassisted goal.  Unfortunately Seaforth scored the next 2.  Less than 10 minutes left. Rhys Tiffin slips one in by Zach Hawkins and Keegan Fischer.  Less than 3  minutes left we are still down by 1.  Mike puts one in by Reece Martin and Noah Wettlaufer.  Game tied. 

The boys are down two goals after the first, and another after the second.  The boys head to the dressing room for some regrouping......What did coach Derek Ditner say in that dressing room.  They came back in the third....wow 4 goals between 9:57 and 4:47 minutes left in the game.  Goal 1: Tyler Hinsperger by Hunter Dietz and Ethan Dietz, Goal 2: Mike Fischer by Reece Martin and Noah Wettlaufer.  Goal 3: Keegan Fischer and Reece Martin, and the winning goal unassisted by Reece Martin.  Like I said I don't know what was said in that room, but the boys must have been inspired.

After the tough start in OMHA, it was time to turn things around with a win against Drayton in WOAA.  A slow start with no goals in the 1st period.  Then 4 goals scored in the second. Noah Wettlaufer, by Reece Martin and Mike Fischer.  Nigel Kreager by Rhys Tiffin and Tommy Christie.  Zach Hawkins by Rhys Tiffin and Tommy Christie, and Nigel Kreager, by Tommy Christie.  The other team was only able to get two goals in on Owen Mckenzie.  Reece Martin topped things off with an unassisted goal in the third.

The first game ended in a 3-1 loss against Seaforth, with the single goal scored by Reece Martin assisted by Noah Wettlaufer.  The second game a 5-1 loss with the only goal by Nigel Kreager.  It wasn't looking good, but the boys were not giving up because it isn't over until it is over.

The boys traveled to Wiarton on January 3rd, thank goodness the roads were good.  They started really strong in the first period with 5 goals.  Hunter Dietz scored the first, assisted by Reece Martin, second by Zach Hawkins assisted by Reece Martin and Nigel Kreager.  Nigel scored the next goal, assisted by Zach Hawkins and Mike Fischer, Noah Wettlaufer scored the fourth goal assisted by Ethan Dietz.  The final goal in the first was scored by Mike Fischer assisted by Tommy Christie and Hunter Dietz.  The only other goal in the game was scored in the second by Mike Fischer assisted by Reece ...
