Small In Size...Big On Effort!
The South Bruce Novice LL team traveled to Harriston to play the Minto Mad Dogs in an Exhibition game on Monday evening.
With good puck possession and strong passing, South Bruce started the scoring quickly just 20 seconds into the first period. Good positional play by South Bruce generated a 3-0 score at the end of the first.
Minto found their groove in the second scoring 2 quick goals, keeping the pressure on and holding South Bruce off the scoreboard.
The third period was a frenzy of opportunities and great chances at both ends. South Bruce played as a team and focused on strong back-checking and good defensive play. Graham was able to complete his hat-trick in the last minute of play with 2 goals giving South Bruce the 5-2 win. A great effort by all our young players made for an exciting game to watch.
