The South Bruce Bantam Rep Team will begin their quest this weekend to become the first South Bruce Team to win an All-Ontario Championship!!!
The following are the games that have been scheduled in this series:
Game 1 in Norwood @ 2:00 pm. (Saturday 15th)
Game 2 in Mildmay @ 3:30 pm. (Sunday 16th)
Game 3 in Norwood @ 5:00 pm. (Saturday 22nd)
Game 4 in Mildmay @ 3:00 pm. (Sunday 23rd)
Game 5 in Norwood @ 3:00 pm. (Saturday 29th)
Game 6 in Mildmay @ 3:00 pm. (Sunday 30th)
The Bantams received a bye in the first round of the playoffs. They played the Seaforth Stars in the second round and won that series three games straight with scores of 9 to 1, 8 to 1 and 5 to 0.
The next series was the quarter-finals and the boys faced off against the Six Nations Blackhawks. This series was more aggressive and rough, but our boys pushed through and took the series in 5 games. They recorded the following scores, 5 to 0, 3 to 1, 2 to 3, 2 to 3 and 5 to 1.
Our semi-final series saw us paired with the Lucan Irish. The team took this series again three games straight, with scores of 4 to 1, 8 to 1 and 5 to 2.
After successfully completing their semi-final series, the Bantams are now ready to go for the All-Ontario Championship title.
