We ended our hockey season with a win today! The South Bruce U13LL team may have had some challenges this year but overall it was a great seven months on the ice. With 18 wins, 12 losses and 1 tie, these boys showed dedication, development, perseverance and camaraderie.
Head Coach Luke Hanes, Assistant Coach Mike Huber along with Trainers Lance Leslie and Mark Lobsinger guided and taught this small team of 10 skaters and 2 goalies the importance of cooperation, teamwork, respect and sportsmanship, instilling their own love of hockey. We may not have won any medals or championships this year but we hit the jackpot with having an awesome group of kids and families to share their passion of hockey. This year the team experienced new friendships, memories and skill all while playing the 'Good Old Hockey Game".
