Season Update.
As stated in the past updates, SBMHA Executive has worked with neighbouring Associations (Kincardine, Huron Bruce and Walkerton) to form a group that will allow our players to play within bubbles with a 50 player maximum. This has been a process with several iterations but is ready to proceed forward. To accomplish this, we will be dividing into teams within each age group. The team lists will be posted on the website in the next few days. Additionally, the new ice schedule will be posted by the weekend. Formation of the teams and new ice schedule will start next week.
SBMHA continues to be in contact with the Municipality of South Bruce and WOAA on a regular basis to ensure that all operations remain within recommendations and rules. We continue to rely on Grey Bruce Public Health as our guidance as to what the season structure will be. The season structure could change at any point if those recommendations change. Attached you will find a link to OMHA website stating what the hockey structure is to be for the various COVID colour codes.
