Upcoming season
South Bruce Minor Hockey Association (SBMHA) continues to plan for the upcoming 2020-2021 hockey season. With the recent changes in provincial guidelines with respect to gathering sizes we were able to complete the 2019-2020 Annual General Meeting.
The intention for SBMHA is to put on a hockey program this season that follows the rules of both the governing hockey bodies and our local Public Health Unit. At this point in time there are more questions than answers with respect to how the season will look but information is beginning to flow. The only thing that is clear at this point is that hockey will look much different this fall than we are traditionally used to.
To date we have had very encouraging conversations with the Municipality of South Bruce and they too share a desire to provide an environment that gets youth in our area active again. We are very recently just starting to receive information from the WOAA.
We ask for patience as we work through the information to provide a safe environment that allows the players of SBMHA to return to the ice.
