
The Loss of a great Volunteer
It is with much sadness, that South Bruce Minor Hockey Announces the passing of a dedicated minor hockey volunteer Rob Schnurr of Mildmay Rob lost his battle with cancer February 4. Rob spent many years on the bench with his four boys as they were growing up while Sheila cheered in the stands. Jordan, Brett and Caleb along with their younger brother Connor were lucky to have him on the bench for hockey and on the sidelines helping with soccer teams. He also spent time volunteering with the Mildmay Ag Society. He will be missed by many.
Visitation will take place at the Mildmay Carrick Recreation Complex on Thursday from 1:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. The memorial service to honour Rob’s life will be conducted from the Mildmay Carrick Recreation Complex on Friday February 7th, 2020 at 1:00 p.m., with Ann Maycock officiating.
Reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Residential Hospice of Grey Bruce – South Hospice or Schnurr Family Education Fund would be appreciated by the family.
