The fundraising raffle draw was conducted by the fundraising committee on the scheduled date of 01Dec2018. Immediately following the draw it was noticed by the committee that there were some tickets returned before deadline that were accidentally not included in the draw. The Municipality of South Bruce was immediately contacted and the decision was made to extend the notification of winners until the lottery licence issuer (ACGO) could be contacted for possible advice.
The decision made by SBMHA was to maintain the winners from the draw held on 01Dec2018 return the ticket fees to all purchasers of tickets returned in time for the draw that were accidentally excluded from the draw. Those with tickets accidentally not included in the draw have been informed.
The Fundraising Committee and the SBMHA Executive apologize for the error made and thank you in advance for your understanding.
