Submitted By Murray Steffen on Monday, November 27, 2017
South Bruce blades are offering FREE power skating to the following teams. Tyke novice rep novice local league atom rep atom local league atom girls peewee local league and peewee reps. (Atom girls will be divided up)

Thanks to all of the volunteers that work in the food booth, work at the tournaments, get prizes for the raffle table and donations for the tournaments or work on a committee. We are able to offer this for free.  (So keep working hard and we can offer more things for next year. Like puck handling program, a Shooting program going,  some new equipment for development too. Ever penny helps to develop everyone.)

This power skating session will be offer Wednesday dec 27 from 10 to 4 in mildmay And Wednesday jan 03 from 10 to 4 in teeswater.  During the Christmas break. I will have a schedule next week. Just waiting to hear back from the zone. Each team will get 50 minuets with THE ZONE (company out of Waterloo)

We ask the kids to be on their best behaviour. If a players is acting up they will be removed by the coaches. We paid lots of money for this. Coaches will be on the ice to set up drills and and learn from the instructor. Parents maybe can watch from the stands and learn too.

We did try to have it in October but due of not having ice in either arena. We had to change the dates. I will be having sign up sheets at each rink for your child can sign up. Will be put up next weekend. I need to fill each ice times.

We are working on some other programs to be offered to the teams not included in this so that no one is left out.

Thanks. Jill
