JUVENILE ALL STAR GAME
WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 30TH 2015 will be the date of our ALL STAR GAME. Puck drop will be 7:30 pm We will have a number of other things going on that night including a silent auction ( please feel free and encouraged to help out with items) Location will be Seaforth and we will play 3-20 minute periods, plus sudden death OT if needed.

We will have the following teams in the "North" South Bruce Walkerton Ripley TCDMHA   "South" will obviously be Central Perth Seaforth Arthur Honeywood   As previously stated  Each team is to submit 2 forwards, 2 defenseman and 1 goalie. Those players will "rostered" to the team. I would then have every team submit me one more name ( a forward) that will provide me with 4 names (per division) and I will randomly select a name for one more to take a "wild card" slot. This will round out each roster to 9 forwards, 8 defense and 4 goalies. I ask the player names (and positions) be forwarded to me NO LATER THAN TUESDAY DEC 15th  how your team decides what names to submit is up to each team.   I will also put all Coaches name in and draw for one head coach per division and will also do the same for Assistant Coach and Trainer. I would hope each centre encourages, friends, family and of course their full team to attend and support their teammates and the event. Players playing in the game will not be charged admission all others over the age of 12 will be $5 under 12 will be $2   If you have any further suggestions please send them over to me ASAP. If you have auction items let me know and if anyone would like to volunteer at the event please feel free to let me know that also I am positive I can find a spot.   Thanks again Lisa Campbell WOAA Juvenile Convenor

PLEASE READ THIS AS THIS IS THE BACK STORY TO THIS EVENT.

For the last few years I have been pondering and looking at the logistics of putting together a Juvenile All Star game. While All Star games are generally not Convenor driven I am glad to announce this year we will be having one.
Background information, most of you are aware my youngest child Scott who is now 22 was diagnosed with his first of 3 cancers in 2007. Scott was found to have a rare blood cancer at the age of 14 after a long 6 yrs of seeking a diagnosis, since then he has also had Hodgkin's Lymphoma in 08 and 10, in 2011 he was diagnosed with stage 4 Non-Hodgkin's. He has under gone chemo many times, 25 rounds of radiation, a stem cell and bone marrow transplant. As a result of his illness Scott was unable to play his Juvenile years.
As a result of all of Scott's battles I have become actively involved with the Leukemia Lymphoma Society (LLS), which brings me back to the All Star game and thus this memo.
I have decided to combine my hockey life and LLS life.
I have submitted for approval to the OMHA a request to hold a Juvenile All Star game within the WOAA.
At this game all proceeds will go to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society.
We have 8 teams this year. I will divide these teams into 2 groups. Each team will submit 2 forwards, 2 defenseman and 1 goalie. Those players will "rostered" to the team. I would then have every team submit me one more name ( a forward) that will provide me with 4 names (per division) and I will randomly select a name for one more to take a "wild card" slot. This will round out each roster to 9 forwards, 8 defense and 4 goalies. I will also put all Coaches name in and draw for one head coach per division and will also do the same for Assistant Coach and Trainer.
