Championship Finals for 5 South Bruce Teams!!
Once again South Bruce has witnessed a great
season of hockey from our youngest teams (IP) right through to our Juvenile
team. All the Local League teams performed extremely well all
season and throughout the recent round robin playoffs with 2 teams losing out
on the final championship round by a single point during a tie
breaker! The Representative and AE teams were also strong
representatives of our hockey system with 5 teams making it into the
semi-finals of All Ontario playdowns while playing their WOAA round robin
playoff at the same time. The end is in sight and we
will want to cheer on all of our finalists into that last game of the season!
WOAA Championship:
The Novice Local League team and the Midget Local League team have advanced to the final championship round for their division. The Novices are off to Mitchell tonight to start their series. Watch the website for the posting of each of these series. The Bantam AE’s also advance into the final round for WOAA and they are facing Drayton.
OMHA Championship:
The Atom Reps are playing Burford for the OMHA title and they are currently tied at 2 points each in the 6 point series. Game 3 and Game 4 (Teeswater) are this weekend.
