SUDDEN DEATH in Mildmay!!!
A great game of hockey in Mildmay tonight!!! An intense, high action game ended in a 1-1 tie with the Kincardine Kanucks Rep team. Just when we thought it was all over, the Coaches and Officials decided to extend the play in a tie breaking overtime period - this overtime did not produce a goal and the game went into a 3 player shootout! Brooke, Alicia, and Trystin all took great shots on net - each team scored one goal in the shootout! Sudden Death was called! Lauren took an excellent shot on the Kincardine net, barely stopped by their goatender. It was a real nail-biter! One of the most exciting moments in the season! The Kincardine player snuck one past our most talented Jayden, ending the game. Fantastic hockey girls!!!
