Atom Girls pay Miranda a visit
The South Bruce Atom girls organized a team excursion to the University of Guelph to watch one of their own play on Friday Jan. 3rd.  Miranda Lantz from Mildmay currently plays for the Cambridge Rivulettes of the Provincial Women's Hockey League and her team faced off in a regular season match against the Oakville Jr. Hornets.  Miranda has been out to a couple of the Atom girls practises in recent weeks to offer some advice, tips and tricks and the South Bruce girls thought it would be nice to go cheer Miranda on at a game.  The game ended in a 2-2 Overtime tie and afterwards the Rivulettes invited the Atom girls into their dressing room for autographs and pictures.

Miranda started her hockey career in Mildmay before moving on to the Saugeen Maitland Lightning program and now with the Cambridge Rivulettes.  Miranda is currently in Grade 11 and hopes to some day earn a hockey scholarship at a Canadian or US university or college.

The South Bruce Atom girls would like to thank Miranda for her help and wish her all the best in her future hockey career.
