Midget LL Victorious in Game 2 of Series VS Blyth/Brussels
Holy macaroni! What a game! South Bruce dominated this game from start to finish, but Blyth Brussels did not stop fighting back. It was an intense game from the first whistle to the final buzzer.
There was not a South Bruce team member who did not play their heart out tonight. There were so many proud parents and family members in the stands! The defense worked hard to keep the opposition from scoring on Drew, and Drew was like a steel trap, not letting the puck through. Our forwards consistently passed the puck and took the shots to score, often fending off a fierce B/B defense as well.
I think, in my humble opinion, that our boys played their best game of the season so far, so GREAT JOB BOYS AND KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! We are proud of what you have accomplished by coming together as a team after the amalgamation. I also wish to acknowledge our coaching staff for all their hard work in guiding our young men to be the best they can be. Thank you.
On to Blyth for game three this Friday at 9:30 pm. Come on out and cheer them on. I don't want to be the only noisy one out there (although I often am the loudest). Come help me out folks!
