League Action
After an extended period of time, the South Bruce Pee Wee Reps returned to League action Friday night after over a week off.

The Wingham Ironmen Pee Wee Reps came into Teeswater looking to continue their hot play against our Pee Wee Rep boys.

The South Bruce Pee Wee Rep Boys started off fast in this game controlling the play.  Pass after pass, tape to tape caused havoc to the Wingham team, with most of the play staying in the Wingham end.  The South Bruce team was able to get the puck behind the Wingham net and play pass with each other before sending one out front setting up a nice snipe making the game 1-0 early.

The boys continued to control the play, moving the puck around well and with a nice pass to an open player in front of the net, South Bruce was up 2-0 at the end of the first.

The defense have been solid all year around and this game was no different.  The Wingham team tried and tried to get through the defense, but couldn't get much started.  South Bruce had to kill off two penalties and the boys did a fine job limiting Wighman's shots on net.

During the intermission, many of the fans were commenting on how well the kids passed the puck and moved it.  Several of the kids haven't played much with each other and you can really see how well they are gelling and this was evident as South Bruce went up 3-0 to make this appear to be a one sided affair.

The 3rd period came and it appeared that this one was all but over, but Wingham came out strong challenging the South Bruce team and even notching a goal to make it 3-1.  The play was back and forth a bit more than the first two periods, but the South Bruce boys found their stride and continued to control the puck possession.  This one ended 3-1 and turned out to be a real good game.
