Weekend Success
The South Bruce Local League 2 Team had two thrilling games this weekend.
Friday night, our friends from Milverton came up to Teeswater to meet our kids. The game started off on the right foot as South Bruce got several goals early and you could feel that this may be our first win of the season. When it all ended there were a couple kids with hat tricks and a couple with doubles. Everyone was skating hard, working with the "train tracks" and passing well. Good work kids and congrats on the big win and shut out!
Saturday morning the kids were off on the road again to meet Hanover. The previous encounter with the other Hanover team did not fair so well for the South Bruce kids and we would find ourselves in tough against a very good team again. There were many nice plays and good hustle, but it wasn't enough as the Hanover Falcons would take this one 5-1. The kids are still learning a lot and doing well. All of this experience will surely pay-off as the year goes on.
